Gametime Events USA operates tournaments throughout the West Region. With over 50 tournaments in Colorado and California, they have extended the brand to the Southwest United States, for the 2024-25 season. For as far as I can remember basketball at Basic has been well, Basic. The Wolves rarely contended back in the 4A large class days and went years without even winning a playoff game. In 2020 Basic ended years of suffering by defeating Desert Oasis to win their first playoff game in nearly a decade. (more…)
The GTE Desert Classic took place Nov 2nd – 3rd at Millennium HS in Goodyear, Arizona. The exposure event featured competitive play, player interviews, and a Championship presentation ceremony.
