Covid 19 wiped out the 2020 season for High School Basketball players in Las Vegas, but after a season off, the stakes are even higher. With the help of a newly created division and a quirk of geography, every team competing for the state title resides within the city limits of Las Vegas. Behind the bright lights and glitz of Sin City, lies a hardcore basketball community with deep-seated roots. High Stakes Hoops examines the challenges of navigating a new world while attempting to make State History. The Prodigal Son competes every night under the watchful eye of a doting father. The Freshman competes to earn respect from Veteran peers, while a newcomer seeks to make a name for himself after relocating across the country. Each of them looks to compete against the Local Prospect, holding the weight of a neighborhood on his shoulders. In Sin City, there are no small stakes, we play High Stakes Hoops.
