Rebels will be without the 5th year senior for the forseable future

The Rebels who sit 3-3 will be without a key player. 5th year Grad Transfer Jalen Hill has suffered a wrist injury which will have him out for the foreseable future. In addition to his exprience and leadership, the Rebels will also miss his team leading 6.8 rebounds per game

With Hill out the Rebels will have to find someone to replace his production. Here’s a look at some obvious canidates.

Robert Whaley – Whaley is the primary candidate, the 6’8 forward can certainly make up for the scoring, as the skilled back to the basket forward has already flashed some low post scoring ability.

Isaiah Cottrell – The Rebels could decide to go big, making Cottrell a mismatch nightmare. The almost 7 footer has a nice outside touch and could help space the floor for the team.

Shane Nowell – Wildcard for sure, as Nowell hasn’t played a game for the Rebels yet this seaon. When healthy, on the defensive end he has the ability to defend both frontcourt and backcourt players while stretching the floor offensively.
